“My daughter’s sophomore courses include High Honors English and History at a private high school. The advanced English course focuses on an in-depth study of American literature with an emphasis on literary analysis. The History class is designed to provide a college-level course as preparation for a junior year AP course, and emphasizes skills needed for analysis of document-based questions (DBQs) and AP United States History (APUSH) long essays. Both classes regularly require critical essays, which is not an area of strength for my daughter. I quickly reached out to Brielle based on our experience with her as my daughter’s seventh and eighth grade teacher. Brielle works with each student to create an appropriate tutoring strategy and is flexible with scheduling. Brielle met with my daughter three times during her most intense week.
